COVID-19 SAFETY POLICIES

As we continue to navigate the current COVID-19 crisis, the health and safety of our guests, staff, and community stays our top priority. To ensure you have a safe and stress-free experience with us, we’ve outlined what to expect when dining in or ordering take-out along with the extensive health & safety measures we are taking as advised by our public health officials. 

What to Expect When Dining-In/Getting Take-Out

*INDOOR AND PATIO DINING UNAVAILABLE STARTING SATURDAY, APRIL 3*

  • Take-Out – When picking up a take-out order, come to the back patio and up to the take-out window. If a team member is not present, press the doorbell to the right of the window and someone will come to greet you.  

  • Masks – Face masks/coverings are required at all times while inside the restaurant/patio and only permitted to be removed when seated at a table as mandated by public health.

  • Physical Distancing – Guests are asked to maintain a 6ft distance when waiting in the heated patio area to be greeted or pick-up their take-out order. Tables are spaced two metres apart, and staff will maintain an appropriate distance from each other and from guests wherever possible.

  • Sanitizer - Hand sanitizer stations are available at all entrances and several other areas throughout the restaurant.

  • Dining In – All guests must check in with a team member at the back patio entrance upon arrival. We ask that you do not seat yourself or enter the restaurant for any reason without checking in first with one of our staff.

  • Reservations – Due to limited seating, booking your table ahead of time is highly recommended. Should you be unable to make your reservation for any reason we ask that you please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Group Sizes - Group sizes may be limited according to provincial and local legislation.

  • Contact Tracing – As required by public health, we must gather contact information (name and phone number) from all guests that dine-in with us. All guest information is kept strictly confidential and not shared with any third party. 

  • Screening – All guests will be asked to review a list of screening questions before entering the restaurant to dine-in with us. We ask that any guests feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of COVID 19 please stay at home – check out our delivery options through Uber Eats & Skip the Dishes.

  • Service – We have altered our steps of service to reduce any unnecessary touch points while maintaining our high standards for exemplary service.

  • Digital Menus – Digital menus that can be accessed via a QR code have been implemented to avoid unnecessary additional touchpoints. For those without a smartphone, we will be happy to provide disposable paper menus.

Further Health & Safety Measures

  • Personal Protective Equipment - All staff are required to wear a face mask/covering at all times while in the restaurant and protective eye wear for front of house staff interacting with guests.

  • Handwashing – Thorough and diligent handwashing has always been common practice for us, and we are more diligent and conscious in this regard now more than ever. Posters outlining proper handwashing technique are posted in all restrooms and handwashing stations.

  • Sanitization - Dining room tables, chairs and payment terminals are sanitized after each use, while frequent high-touch point surfaces are sanitized throughout daily operations (every 30 minutes, at a minimum). A thorough sanitization of our restaurant occurs daily prior to open.

  • Staff Wellness & Hygiene – Team members are required to launder their uniforms after every shift, practice social distancing, self-monitor for any symptoms, and encouraged to take care of their physical health.

  • Staff/Supplier Screening – Before coming to work, every employee is asked a thorough COVID-19 pre-shift questionnaire to ensure they are fit to work. Any employee who is experiencing symptoms, has traveled outside of Canada, or has come into contact with a positive or suspected case of COVID-19 will be required to stay home from work for a minimum of 14 days. Suppliers are also required to complete a screening questionnaire before being able to deliver any goods into the restaurant.

  • Air Purification – Each dining room has been equipped with a medical grade air purifier from Austin Air Canada.
